Adding a little bit of extra comfort to baby's world is always a wonderful thing and this big cushy chair from Nature's Touch provides a lovely place for baby to either hang out and be entertained or take a quick snooze. It's modeled after the popular Papasan chairs that are so often the purview only of grown-ups. In addition to the well-padded seat, there is a mobile of pleasant toys and a selection of electronic music, which we found to be much more soothing than is often the case and, mercifully, with adjustable volume. My husband and I love the swing. We bought it after we had already tried 3 different swings for our new baby and this is finally the one our 2 month old will sit in and stay for more than 5 min. He loves the lights it has and the direction of the swing. It says it is purple but it isnt. I think it is supposed to be lavander but is actually more of a pale blue. I would recommend this swing to anyone though very easy to put together and such a great way to entertain baby.

My son loves this swing! I like that it can swing from front to back or from side to side. And, I like that the music, lights and mobile all have seperate switches. Also, the swing can be battery operated or plugged in to the electric outlet. This swing is wonderful, I'm so glad we got it!

We've been using it from day one and how quickly time passes by. I have learned so many things about it that contradicts advises of others.
Some reviews wrote that the lowest setting swings too fast and it makes so much noise. Its true, but Ive considered the underlying misconceptions based on experience.
I observed that it does swing fast on the lowest setting when my baby was 6 pounds, but as she gains weight or I put a stuffed animal next to her, then everythings all well and nice.
yes, it makes creaky noise. Yet that creaky noise may sound soothing for our baby. Most mothers who have read pregnancy books know that infants have been exposed to loud sounds in the womb with mommy's heartbeat or liquid gushing to and fro. That's why white noise / ocean waves / pouring rain sounds are highly effective in making babies sleep longer. ( i wanted to buy that cloud b white noise but decided to download on my pod speaker the rain noise)
The swing makes life a bit easier sometimes. Every baby is different and my baby likes my warmth more than anything else so I can only use the cradle when she's in deep sleep for her nap. She sleeps 2 hours straight on it, wakes up a bit and sleep again for two hours.
If Im too lazy to transfer her, she ends up on a boppy. Both are nice.
Note:
I have two cradle swings, one for my in-laws when we visit and another for our home.
(2) I dont bother with the belt because Im ALWAYS in front for her when she's on it.

I bought this swing from Babies R Us after reading all of the great reviews because I needed something to entertain my baby that reclined enough (she has acid reflux). Unfortunately when we got it home and set it up we found that it swings way too fast, even in the slowest setting! The swinging motion is also a little loud, but that wouldn't bother me if I weren't so worried about the swing making my baby sick or worse being unsafe. It seems particularly unsafe since it is just a 3-point harness system.
