This is perfect for a toddler- it is made of the same material as the nalgene bottles and is incredibly sturdy. We haven't taken a bat to it just yet like our own bottles, but I don't believe it would crack! It doesn't spill when thrown either and we love that! The bottle is also shaped to hold with one hand and is perfect for a young hand. The only complaints would be price-- but it is worth having one or two! AND, the handle (loop at top) presses up against the child's nose while drinking- a potential minor discomfort issue- but it really has never bothered my child.

Ever have a baby who won't take a sippy cup? I sure do, my 15 month old didn't want anything to do with any brand sippy cup I tried (ten brands in all so far) until on a whim I ordered this cup. He liked to play with my nalgene bottle so much I thought he might like that it looked like "mommy's cup". Well now he won't use anything else. The cup is very durable and easy to clean, doesn't leak at all- even when shaken upside down. My only complaint is the price is NOT what i want to pay for just a sippy cup but the product itself is great.

My daughter likes the bright pink color. I like the reassurance of seeing "BPA free" indented on the bottom, along with "Made in the USA." The opening is wide enough to fit a bottle brush in - easy cleaning, and ice cubes.
