Worth every penny September 30, 2008 Margaret (PA) yes, this product is sooo expensive. but it's worth every penny. it's very versatile (i can always keep my baby out of the sun by flipping the handle), easy to put together and take in and out of your car trunk, very comfortable for the baby, fits your baby from birth till a long while later, has tons of useful and cute accessories, and has great resale value. worth every single penny.
Yes, the Bugaboo is worth it. April 11, 2008 B. C. Moseley (Lone Star State) Yes, the Bugaboo is worth it. We bought a "Frog" almost two years ago for our first daughter. For the first 3 months of her life, the Bugaboo was her mobile bassinet [hint: we didn't buy a standalone bassinet since the bugaboo has one and saved $]. We bought the frog, rather than the Cameleon because we (a) were OK with the solid color and (b) neither one of us needed the ability to extend the handlebars (if you're 6' or taller, you might). Our Bugaboo has made lots of trips with us and we've had no problem gate-checking it on the plane. Rides like a champ. Durable. Stylish.
JUST WHAT I WANTED January 28, 2008 Julio Cesar Bernal 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Bugaboo Frog is the stroller we were looking for our newborn baby girl. Is fantastic. Easy to assemble and fold down for our small car trunk as well as its light weight make it completely functional.
Even my 3 year old loves our Frog! October 26, 2007 Jennifer Miller (San Diego, CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I had to write a review after reading the one who said her baby stopped fitting in her frog. That doesn't make any sense as my 3 year old - who is a big boy! - LOVES his frog still. We are expecting a new baby any day, and I think my son is going to be really jealous when she takes over his stroller. My son's favorite thing about this stroller is that he can lie completely flat and I put a blanket on him, put down the canopy and he feels so safe and secure. It is also so fun to be able to move the handle bar back and forth so easily as you're walking. You won't believe how often this feature is used! If he is facing forward and there is sun in his eyes, I just rotate the stroller so that he's now facing me while we walk. He loves it! I would say that the major drawback to this stroller- aside from the obvious high price tag- is the amount of room it takes up in your trunk! We have a jeep grand cherokee so there is plenty to room, but not much room left for other stuff with the stroller inside. It also took me awhile to open the stroller- I figured it out now, but it's not quite as easy or quick as say a Graco travel system or one of those snap n go's. Taking the stroller apart into the 2 pieces is very easy and seems quick enough. The bag underneath is great, and I actually love where the break is because I hang shopping bags or my purse from the brake attached to the handlebar. Overall, I LOVE my frog, wouldn't trade it for anything and feel proud walking around with it wherever I go.
Do Check out Quinny July 16, 2007 J. Iqbal (Clifton, NJ United States) 4 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought a travel system based on consumer reports findings. Big Mistake. I then went abroad taking my baby in a Babybjorn. There i found the 'Quinny Buzz ' stroller. Its a European brand . Looks like a Bugaboo. A dream to use. Not as expensive as the Bugaboo. I believe Amazon has it....so all you people reading this do consider the Quinny.
