3 out of 5 stars Backrest way too short!   March 12, 2010
Jake20 (FL)
The backrest on this stroller was too short for my 2 1/2 year old, and he is only 35 pounds and about 37 inches tall.
His head was hanging out of the top of the backrest with no support.

What is the point of the stroller supporting up to 50 pounds if the backrest can't even support a 2 yr old child 37 inches tall?
I don't understand how they can overlook something like this.

If it were not for the short backrest, I would of been very happy with this stroller.. but unfortunately it will be going back.
I may try the First Years "Ignite" stroller, as I called and they said the backrest is taller on that model.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect stroller!!   March 11, 2010
Berguise (Akron, OH)
I have been looking for a compact and functional stroller for my toddler and this product is it!! Specifically, I wanted a stroller that would last us until he is at least 4 years old for those times when we are at the zoo or Disney World and I know he'll want/need to rest after walking. Very few umbrella strollers can support weight over 35 lbs, and this stroller is rated for 50 lbs. And at the price, you really cannot find anything better. I ordered the "Happy Hippo" print, and was overwhelmingly pleased to see it is even cuter in person. The stroller glides very smoothly on hard surfaces and carpet, and is a comfortable height for both myself an my husband to use. The stroller itself feels solid and durable, and I am confident we will get the intended use out of this product for many years. (One small caveat is that our stroller arrived with one of the hinge covers missing, but I have contacted the manufacturer for a replacement, and I don't anticipate that to be an issue.) I highly recommend this item for parents looking for a compact on-the-go stroller.

1 out of 5 stars Wobbly wheels   March 10, 2010
LilyRose (Dixon,ca)
I bought this for my nephew for when we go to the park. It was perfect except once we got to the park I started walking with him in it and the front wheels would wobble really bad about every 5 feet. It was so bad and so annoying I didnt even make it one lap around the park. I don't see any other reviews about this issue so I would hope that this isn't how all of them are, but when I took it back to the store and checked the display one it also did it. I returned it and bought a cosco one for $15 more and it's perfect, no wobbling wheels and is just made alot better. For me, it was well worth the extra few bucks!

5 out of 5 stars Great Umbrella Stroller   March 10, 2010
Stefanie K. Lanier (Pittsburgh, PA)
I was looking for an inexpensive stroller for day trips to the zoo or shopping for my 2 year old. I wanted a stroller that had a 5-point harness, an umbrella and a small storage area underneath. This is exactly what I was looking for!

I also purchased a saddle bag that attaches to the stroller handles. The stroller doesn't recline very far like the previous review says, but my daughter always falls asleep sitting up, so that wasn't an issue.

A lot of reviews on strollers mention how they aren't made for tall people, so I wanted to address that with this stroller. I'm 5'8" and I don't need to hunch over at all, so I am very pleased with the purchase.

4 out of 5 stars Perfect lightweight stroller!   March 10, 2010

Exactly what I was looking for in a lightweight stroller. Folds in one quick motion and has tons of extras that you just can't find in an inexpensive umbrella stroller. Has a great storage area under the seat, a nifty storage compartment up top that also contains a zippered compartment for a wallet, cell phone, etc. Also has 2 small side pockets that my daughter likes to put her tiny trinkets in. The handles are a great size for my 6'1" husband. I'm also impressed with the detachable shade. I purchased the red print and I'm very happy with the vibrant color. I agree with the previous poster that the recline is not much at all and I would not recommend for an infant under 6 months even with the 5 point harness. Overall I am very pleased and would recommend to anyone looking for a lightweight stroller.
