| Customer Reviews:
Ok, but needs a cup shield for boys! November 10, 2008 Chrissy Allen (NC USA) This potty is decent for the price you pay. It has a wider base, and is more set up like a step-stool than anything else. The top part flips up as a "back" but isn't meant for anything other than being a lid to the potty for its use as a step-stool. My son is just starting to use the potty, and he has a little bit of trouble being far enough back that he can actually pee into the pot. I think it would be fine for little girls, but it lacks the cup mechanism to help little boys. Overall, its decent for the cost, but if you have boys you'll have to do what I did and rig up a cup/splash guard for the front part.
It's already on its way back! November 6, 2008 teacher mom I just received this potty chair in the mail this afternoon and I already have it packaged up to be returned. My son is just showing interest in going potty so I thought this would be great to have this chair around for him to get used to. The base is too wide for my son and he can just sit on the edge of the seat by himself. Not only is the back/lid flimsy but it would not stay open when my son tried to sit on the seat. The cup/bowl is also way too easy to remove and I could only imagine the future messes that would cause. The "rubber grip feet" are just two small pieces that snap to the front and they do not keep it from sliding around the floor. Don't waste your money on the "bargain" potty - spend a few dollars more for one that actually works.
flimsy construction, no back support July 23, 2008 Marka Twain If I paid a penny more I would give it 3 stars. Considering the price, I wouldn't expect more. The back support you see on the picture only serves as a cover. It is too flimsy to lay back on and also isn't flat, so it would hurt the child's back if leaned back. Made our of cheap plastic, but otherwise serves it's purpose.
