5 out of 5 stars My Favorite Potty Seat   January 3, 2009
Dawn Stiller (Virginia Beach)
We had and loved this potty seat, as it put the control in DD's hands. She could decide whether to sit on it as a small potty, or place the removable seat onto the big potty. It closes and acts as a step stool to her her climb to the big potty if she's using it that way. And it's ability to close made it great for the car for those emergencies when a clean public potty was not to be found.

The design of the bowl itself is very good. Unlike other bowls we've had, this one was designed with a handle that is far removed from the urine so we could easily lift out the bowl and dump and wash without getting wet ourselves.

I've read the other reviews, and can't comment on the guard piece since we only used the potty for girls, but I have never had any problem with the seat itself tearing as one post indicated. My sister and I used the potty successfully with three girls before passing it onto a friend.

3 out of 5 stars Does what it's suppose too!   December 31, 2008

My 18 month old is not potty trained yet but is getting there.
She sits on the potty and pretends to go potty but the seat is a little tall for her right now. She also uses it as a stepstool when she brushes her teeth.

Con: The lid does not stay on its hinges very well. I tried to gently bend the plastic back to make it tighter but this did not work for very long. It is a small annoyance but for the price of the potty and that she so far like it is worth the small annoy factor.

5 out of 5 stars Wonderful Potty   November 8, 2008
A. Tibbitts (Wyoming)
This potty by far is the best. We potty trained my son on this same potty 4 years ago and had such great success that we now have one for our daughter who is almost 2 years old. This potty just arrived and our daughter was so excited. She kept saying "My potty", and we went to the bathroom and she went. We didn't even have the potty for 5 minutes and she was already using it. We tried another potty and the seat was way to small and then we tried the potty seat for the toilet and she's way to young for that. I found this potty on line and bought it right away. It was easy to train our son on it and we are finding the same success with our daughter.

5 out of 5 stars Works great so far   August 25, 2008
Proud Mom (Seattle, WA, USA)
We purchased this seat about four months ago along with the book "A Potty for Me!" Our daughter just loves to sit on the chair and read the book. Our purpose was to get her used to the chair. She has fun sitting on it an playing with it for now. She comes into the bathroom and sit on it and says, "potty." It also works great as a step up stool--which she figured out how to use on her own. We have not actually started the potty training process just yet, because she is only 21 months at present and does not show signs that she is ready, but she uses it regularly to sit on.

5 out of 5 stars the perfect potty   August 17, 2008
Peter Manda (New Jersey)
we are really pleased with this product; it's just the right size, easily opens and closes for cleaning, and best of all our son loves the comfortable cushioned seat. we found the "attachment for boys" a little irritating and dispensed with the product, I suppose it is useful for more squeemish parents but it wasn't for us. didn't detract from the product itself.

Thanks for shopping with us!
