This is the perfect "lovey" or "transitional object" as some would say. The fabric is a very soft terry cloth and is soothing to rub, the knots are great for chewing on when those gums are hurting while teething and it is just the right size for little hands to hold on to. The color selection is great. The BEST thing about this is that you can wash it in the washing machine and dry it in the dryer!
