My biggest complaint with this unit is that it constantly needs replacement filters that are both hard to find and expensive.
The internal filter starts to grow mildew and deteriorate after as little as one days use. Without the filter, the unit does not work.
If you're looking for a humidifier that needs to come out of storage fast and rescue a kid with a cold, forget about this one. It wants tons of attention and upkeep that is both annoying and expensive.
Also, the unit is noisey and the construction is cheap.
For me, this has been a huge waste of money.
