My daughter (15 months) loves ducks, but isn't really that into most "fuzzy" plush stuffed animals for whatever reason. I wanted to find something soft she could hug without the fuzz that turns her off. The Under the Nile Cotton Duck arrived super fast. I noticed that the beak on ours is more rounded than the pointy one they show in the picture. I only wish I had bought this for her sooner. This would be a great present for a newborn or younger baby. The Egyptian cotton it is made out of is so soft - like expensive bed sheets! The colors are even brighter in person, so that's great to get baby's attention. It will even stay upright on a flat surface when you push the feet down. It also makes you feel good buying it, knowing that it is organic and fair trade. My daughter loves her "Duck-Duck" and now sleeps with it at night.
