5 month old enjoys, but Yellow touchpad already broken October 15, 2008 LovinMotherhood (OC, VT) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
As I expected my baby boy at 4 months old really took interest in this toy. He is teething and likes to chew on every appendage, even the ribbon "hair". He is delighted by the sounds, especially the rhyme mode, and works well to divert him from cranky moments during play. The back of the octopus' head has a velcro opening, which enables you to possibly wash the fabric body, but I have not tried to do it yet. However, the Yellow tentacle's touchpad receiver became broken after only a couple of weeks of very light play, which is disappointing. Overall, he does not seem to know the difference, and plays with it in various ways. It is a good toy for parent-child interactive play.
Sweet May 28, 2008 Angela B. (Connecticut) Very bright and fun. My baby is a little too young (8 months) to press the keys completely each time, but I am sure she will enjoy it as she gets bigger. She loves shaking the beads on the leap frog tag.
Not what you think May 23, 2008 Merric's Mom (Maryland) The octopus volume was fine, however, it is soooo difficult to press the sensors to make it speak. It is near impossible for my 7 month old to do it. When it does speak, the voice is grating and the sayings repetitive. I thought it was a really cute product, but it turned out to be a waste of money.

Arrived a little dingy and says English/Spanish colors as you push the tenticles of the octopus. If you don't push them just right then it won't play.
Too cute for words! February 24, 2008 jocamper (Stockton, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My grandson was only a month old but when the toy talked he would get a smile on his face, too cute, too soft, loved it!!
