This product is brand new so I haven't used it much. It's very quiet and puts out a refreshing mist. One gripe I have is that the instructions do not tell you how to insert/place/snap whatever the Ionic Silver Stick. They show a picture but the picture does NOT look like the equipment I have. So, I just pushed the stick into the groove between two plastic posts (not described or shown in the manual). So evidently they have 'updated' or changed the base without updating the manual. I really hate inconsistencies like that. Especially on expensive appliances. I'm thrilled with the lovely mist that pours out of the machine, the effect is kind of like dry ice in water. I will update as I put more miles on this unit.
