Improved Both of our Sleep!! December 4, 2008 J. C. Motta I bought this sleep sack to help wean my baby from swaddling. What a great move! Prior to using this, he would get up 1 to 2 times a night - each time he was completely out of his swaddle and was up enough to want to eat. Ever since the exact night I moved to the sleep sack, I haven't had to go into his room once! He's covered the entire night and now doesn't wake up fully when he stirs. AND, I don't have to worry about loose blankets in the crib. I would wait until your baby has lost his startle reflex before using this, as the arms are still free. If you've got a baby that's been kicking out of his swaddle and is at that weaning stage, I highly recommend it. I've bought a few....A great purchase for a number of reasons!
love sleep sacks but not this one November 30, 2008 Heather Rowles (Atlanta, GA) I love sleep sacks because it is a safe blanket but dont really love this one. The zipper goes down so it can be difficult to get it zipped when he is squirming and the ones that zip up are much easier. I also went to get him this moring and he had managed to unzip it from the top. He is only 5 months old. I wouldnt buy this sleep sack again and want antoher one with a different zipper.
Perfect item for parents November 5, 2008 Heather (San Pedro, CA USA) I have purchased the Halo sleepsacks ever since my son grew out of the swaddler blankets. It is perfect! It keeps my son warm and it stays with him wherever he moves in his crib. I also don't have to worry about his face getting covered up by the blanket. He seems to sleep better when he is in the sleepsack...I think he feels more "snuggled up". He is now 18 months and I just purchased the XL size for him. I recommend this blanket for all parents.
A must have! November 2, 2008 R. Frierson (Grapevine, TX) I discovered this with my first daughter once she was too large to be swaddled. I would check on her, blankets would be off and she would be ice cold. This was wonderful. She would stay comfortable and I did not have to worry about her getting tangled in a large blanket. I bought this one recently for my second child. LOVE it!!!
yay! you have XL! October 28, 2008 Molecular Mom Michelle (SF Bay area) I could not find XLs anywhere! my child has used these since he was a newborn, after swaddling ended - he sleeps well in these, and he does not get caught up in them, or knotted up. We found our first one 2nd hand in a mothers club rummage sale and thought "hey this would work!" My son knows he cannot walk in it (18 months), and doesn't walk across the crib, though he can stand to complain about being in the crib. I wish it had arms on the fuzzy ones, but we dress my child in a onesie and long sleeved pjs so he's warm enough - and we heat the room to 66 so he's really fine. Love this product.
