KidCo's Play Den provides an enclosed, free standing, functional and versatile play area. The basic set includes six 24" interlocking sections that connect and adjust to form almost any layout. Optional sections are available for larger and irregular areas. Each PlayDen has a walk through gate section that opens in either direction with a simple, one hand adult release. This item's description states that the kit comes with six 24" panels and a gate. That means six 24" panels and one of those six panels has a gate built into it. The photo for this product (and it is the manufacturer's stock photo for it) actually shows more than one kit being used to build what you see.
The product is excellent. We bought four kits and were able to build two completely custom play areas for our daughter. One kit will make an acceptably small play area. But this product's ability to add panels and angle them anyway you want in relation to each other has allowed us to cut out half the family room as a play area. We share that half with our daughter and keep the other half completely for adults.
It is easy to assemble, easy to add or remove panels and easy to adjust. It is sturdy. It can be connected to itself to create a corral or used as a fence(when secured to something else)to partition a room.
