I really like this bassinet. When my daughter was first born, she would sleep part of the night in my bed and part of the night in the bassinet. The bassinet was a nice option when I didn't want her in the bed with me but I could still be close enough to see her, hear her, pat and console her, and get to her easily to nurse her (although you do have to sit up to pick the baby out of the bassinet--you can't just reach over and bring the baby to you while you're lying down). Eventually she spent the entire night in the bassinet.
The one thing that I wasn't anticipating, however, is that she outgrew the bassinet months before I thought she would. When she was 3 months old she weighed well under the 23 pound weight limit (she was 13 lbs), but she became too squirmy of a sleeper and could no longer sleep in the bassinet. She turned herself sideways while she slept and her legs hung over the side and she would wake up. She also likes to flail her legs and arms around while she sleeps and she would bang into the side of the bassinet which also woke her up. A final problem is that while she was flailing around and banging her legs up and down, because the co-sleeper was attached to the bed, my bed would shake and vibrate and it would wake ME up (not a good thing when you're already sleep-deprived!).
She now sleeps in a crib and has much more room to squirm around (she often wakes up completely turned around with her head at the place where her feet were!). I do still get a lot of use out of the co-sleeper as a changing table, though, and as a place to put her and know she is secure while I take a shower and get dressed and do other things in my bedroom.
Overall, I really like the co-sleeper and am glad I purchased it (I would use it again for a second child) but parents who have babies who are active and squirrely sleepers might not be able to use it for as long as they hope. We had to give it up well before she reached the 23 lb. weight limit. A non-active baby could use it for much longer.

It is nice having my daughter right there next to me and I don't have to worry about rolling over on her. I must say though, she hates it! The mattress is so hard I may as well lay her on my floor. She just tosses and turns and grunts. Her poor little head just looks so uncomfortable! and the side of the mattress closest to my bed kind of sinks down and she ends up rolling over and sliding down with her face right up against the side of the sleeper! I also don't like how there is a million pieces of velcro everywhere. Good idea but needs much improvement.

I like this product but it is not as good as I thought it would be.
I had visions of it being level with the bed, an extension of the bed that I could slide the baby across. Instead there is a lip to get the baby over. I am using this as I would use a bassinett; it is right next to my bed (not attached with the straps) but on an angle so I can get in/out of my bed. By the time you have your bedside table and the co-sleeper alongside your bed there is not much room! I can reach over and pat him or fish around to replace a dropped pacifier but to get him into my bed I need to sit up and lift him out.
- The sleeping surface is not level as the base that the mattress sits on is only cloth so it sinks a bit in the middle, however, I bought it second hand so that may be the reason.
- I agree with other reviewers that the mattress is hard but I haven't done anything about that because my baby has not been bothered by it but I plan to pad it with a blanket as I have noticed he falls asleep on my bed or his soft changing pad pretty quickly in comparison.
- It folds up nice and small so I can store it easily until the next baby comes along.
- It is quite a good size for having beside a bed and it has pockets on the side so if I wanted to move my bedside table out of the way I could put a bottle of water, tissues and other bedside table stuff in the pockets.
- This is only a co-sleeper, I think the larger version converts into a playpen. I probably should have gotten the larger one for it's versatility later.

I like the smaller size since we're moving baby into her own room in a few months anyway. We already have a pack n' play (which we never use.) So this was the perfect option. It's nice to have a safe place where baby can sleep, and we can just peek over to see how she is. Our first baby co-slept in the bed with us which was nice, but there was always a part of me that was worried about rolling over and smooshing him, so I never slept very deeply.
After ordering the co-sleeper online, we figured we'd just buy the sheets at our local baby store, and get leg extenders if we really needed them. Well, none of our local stores carry the sheets, or the leg extenders. So instead of paying $25 for the extenders, which didn't have great reviews, we decided to use the kind of bed lifts that we used to use in our dorm rooms at college which actually work great. Plus, with the 20% off coupon we always get mailed out from Bed Bath and Beyond, it was only about $10. It fits perfectly. The downside to this is that your limited to the height of the lifts which I believe are 5 and 7 inches. For us that was not a problem - we needed the extra 7 inches. I don't think the leg extenders would have been nearly sturdy enough.
For sheets (this may sound odd) but we are using changing pad sheets. They're new, and haven't been pooped on, and really soft. Plus, when we're done with the bassinet we'll have extra changing sheets. They're not as tight as Arm's Reach ones, but tight enough. We're supposed to stop using the bassinet when baby starts to roll over, plus we swaddle, so the sheet isn't going to come loose anyway. And I can use it over the Arm's Reach sheet so if I have to do a quick clean up in the middle of the night I can just peel the top one off.

We still use this co-sleeper for our nine-month-old daughter. It was the best purchase we made for our baby! I have been very happy with this, both as a co-sleeper and bassinet. It was incredibly handy for those first few weeks when baby wakes up every 2 hours to nurse. When she wakes up at night now, I can soothe her right back to sleep without having to get up. I cannot stress enough how happy I am with this product!
