Editorial Review
With its turned legs and rails, this oak-lacquered, all-wood changing table looks like it belongs in the corner of an old-fashioned country kitchen more than in a modern nursery. But even if Mom doesn't wear lace-fringed gingham skirts or the house is steel-and-glass modern, this is a practical piece of baby furniture. Two large shelves provide ample storage for diapers and other paraphernalia. On top there's a 34-by-18-inch pad with a wipe-clean surface and a nylon restraining strap. The table is light enough to be movable but is still quite sturdy. --Richard Farr

4 out of 5 stars Nice for the price   April 9, 2008

I haven't had any problems w/ this changing table. I saw no reason to spend a lot of money for a changing table, but I wanted something durable. Yes, the shelves won't hold the Encyclopedia Britannica set, but it holds my supplies nicely (I keep stuff in baskets for organizational purposes). I have used this for over 2 years w/ no screws loosening or other issues. I have never used the belt that comes w/ it, so I can't speak to that. I did purchase padded changing pad covers to make that part more comfortable for my son.

1 out of 5 stars top changing level broke and my child fell through!!! please read all of the reviews!   May 28, 2006

I've been using this changing table for 18 months with no problems until this morning my wiggly 25lb. daughter fell through! She could have been really hurt. The rail that the changing platform slides into gave out. On the purchase page on this web site it states for children 3 years old and under but when you get the box it states for 20 pounds and under! I'm guessing the average three year old has long since broken 20 pounds, my daughter was 20 pounds around 11 months and has always been in the 50th percentile. My advice is to spend a little more money on something more substantial so you don't have to spend a lot more money later replacing it or worse possibly on a doctors appointment for an injured child. Please take some time to read all of the reviews. There are so many complaints of cheap material, cracked wood, the pitiful 20# weight limit, bad instructions, screws that keep coming loose, missing parts, and warped panels. Many reviewers agree you get a cheap, poor quality table for a cheap price.

I do not understand what the hold up is. It was ordered on the 29th of December and they say it won't be delivered until March 2 or 3rd. Can you tell my why? It is on 2 day shipment delivery. Thank you

4 out of 5 stars Good Table for a Good Price   November 28, 2005

I didn't see any point in spending $200 on a changing table I could only use for maybe the first year of my sons life. So I opted for this one, which can later be used as a book shelf or for storage. As cheap as you might think this table is, it is surprisingly sturdy and well made. It only took my husband about 30 minutes to put together. The changing pad is great because it is vinyl and very easy to clean up. The shelves are great for holding everything you need - I have storage bins which hold all my items and fit nicely on each shelf. The built in "seat belt" is great for holding my son in place as he is quite the wiggle worm. For anyone who wants to save a little money in the changing table department, I highly recommend this table. It also matches my Delta Natural Oak crib very well.

3 out of 5 stars Careful for loosening screws   November 6, 2005

This changing table is better used on smaller babies. As the instructions point out, the weight limit is 20 pounds. That limits the time you can safely use this item. Our daughter is 27 pounds now and we're still using it but we often use the bed instead. This table works well for storing diaper supplies if you're concerned about baby's weight and safety but it is not a sturdy piece of furniture. The screws loosen periodically and need to be monitored for tightening. We have the same problem with a moderately priced baby glider. Spend the extra money on a better quality changing table if you plan to use it a long time.
