Works okay, but not up to expectations November 9, 2008 Addie's Mom (Florida Keys) I read all the mixed reviews and still gave this product a shot. It works okay, but even with hot tap water it doesn't stay warm very long. Forget about the suction feature - it is lousy. I bought it to keep the food warm, which it does to a certain extent. Wish you could microwave it though.
pure genius-no microwaving necessary! November 2, 2008 N. Albanese-levin (New York, N.Y.) i used these for my older daughter 6 years ago and was excited to buy new ones for the baby because it is brilliant. i don't like to microwave baby stuff, and now i don't have to. i freeze lots of babyfood that i make, so i just put them in the sections here and add hot water and in a few minutes she can eat yummy stuff without microwaving. a must have, and i am a minimalist to be sure.
Great warming dish October 14, 2008 Proud Mama (KY) I love this dish. I try to keep from microwaving my baby's food, so I put really hot water in the base of this bowl. It warms my baby's food (even food from the fridge) and keeps it warm. As another reviewer said, the dish is very difficult to separate.
ABSOLUTELTY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE: I hate this product!! July 31, 2008 Mrs. Royal (Clearwater (North) Beach) I bought this bowl from Babies 'r' Us, but I know that many others must have had some of the same issues with this product. So... I am letting you know that this feeding bowl will give you a bit of a hard time. I was confident that even though I did not see a tab on the top or bottom lid of this bowl, I thought, "Oh...well, it must be easy to separate the top bowl from the bottom dish, or else, why would they make it like that?" Well I found out(the hard way) that there was no easy way around to getting the dish separated from the bowl. Also, I know not to leave tap water sitting in any type of container so I've never kept the water sitting in the warming dish after feedings. But, my mom didn't separate the dish after she poured the water out(because she has carpal tunnel) and instead she just left the pop-open hole up(to let it air dry on the inside). I separated it the next day and it never dried. It could have molded, if I had never opened it, since I also use other feeding dishes for more convenience on other days. Anyway, the suction worked on nothing but the kitchen counter(marble top), but I'm pretty sure that wasn't everyone's problem (and the attachable suction ring is easily detached when it DOES suction--not good). They need to improve on this product; make any sense of how it was constructed. Basically, just do not purchase this product, it is very annoying to fight getting this dish to separate! Oh, and the dish itself is NON-MICROWAVEABLE!
So Easy! April 7, 2008 Natosha Mlsna (La Crosse, WI USA) I have read other reviews of this product where they have had difficulties with it. I have nothing but good things to say about it. I originally ordered 2 but recently ordered 1 more to have one for each meal. It warms the food up nicely and suctions well to the high chair. I am very happy!
