This is just an l shaped pillow. No special support at all. I spent one night with it , and it ended up on the floor.

Fantastic pillow, works like a bookend for the bed and helps loads for my messed up shoulder by keeping my arm out from under me. Also keeps me from rolling over, which leads to snoring, which leads to an unhappy wife.....
