Awesome Pump! November 10, 2008

This is my second pregnancy and was looking for a less expensive pump, I had borrowed a Medela pump with my first pregnancy and really wanted my own for my second baby. So I took a chance and bought the Purely Yours pump. Okay, so this little guy rocks! It is so much easier to clean then the Medela, is just as strong and really easy to use and not nearly as big!
I have used this pump for every feeding for my son (thats a lot of pumping) for the past 6 months and the pump is starting to lose its suction so I called the company and they are sending me a new motor no problem. So great customer service, you can't beat that.
I have never used this pump as a double pump, so I can't comment on it performance wise in that area, but if you are looking for a compact, easy to clean, medical grade pump that won't cost you an arm and a leg, the Purely Yours is a great buy! Happy Pumping (if that is really possible:)

We purchased this breast pump a few weeks ago, so my wife could start pumping to give our baby bottles occasionally. My wife and I did alot of reading and research on all the pumps including the famous Medela pumps. Out of what we researched this product seemed like the best one. We got it way sooner than Amazon said, and she tried it out right away. She loves this pump, so far no problems with it. She has been pumping occasionally and says the speed and suction have nice ranges on it. Also neither one of us thinks the pump is loud, it does make noise. The only other thing is she did need to buy bigger nipple horns. Other than that great product.

I purchased this pump after reading a lot of reviews on it and other brands. I finally decided to take a jump and go for this one. I'm glad I did. It works really well, don't have to worry about cleaning the tubing, and the flanges and bottles are really easy to clean. I gave it 4 stars only because the motor on the pump is a little loud, not loud to say you wouldn't be heard if talking, but just loud enough for someone to know something was going on, if you're trying to be discreet, but oh well. For the price, its still a good buy.

I really like this pump. The noise is not loud as others claim- it is a low hum. This pump was a life saver as I wasn't able to breast feed our child right away- so it really helped out estiblishing my milk supply. I would recommend you purchase it before you deliver- in case you have unexpected complications that prevent you from breast feeding right away (also sterilze it before to so you husband doesn't have to go home and do it for you). The suction and cycling works good- s you can vary them independently of eachother. If you are larger breasted/nipples I would suggestthe larger horns- which are only larger in the tube part for your nipple- I don't think the increase your milk- just your comfort- which in turn might up production. Well worth the money!
