Product Description The comfortable feel of 100% cotton with more absorption and a contoured shape for exceptional fit. Includes laundry bag for easy washing.
Editorial Review There's one thing breastfeeding mothers learn pretty quickly: breasts leak, sometimes at the most inopportune moments. Spontaneous milk flow can be triggered by subtle cues, such as hearing a baby's cry, or simply by excessive fullness, particularly in the early months of breastfeeding, when supply sometimes exceeds demand. Avoid embarrassing stains and protect clothing with these absorbent, 100 percent cotton bra pads. There are four pads included in this pack (double them up for extra protection). Tuck them inside the bra; their smooth, round shape and ivory color help them blend in for a natural look, and the brushed cotton material is very soft and comfortable. Finished edges prevent raveling. These bra pads fit all breast sizes, and they can be machine washed and tumble-dried. --Elisabeth Fredrickson

Decent pads October 30, 2008 Amie (Los Angeles, CA USA) These score an A with me for eco-friendliness, but a C for effectiveness. They tend to kind of leak--as in they get saturated and then my bra gets wet and then my shirt gets wet. It would be nice if they had some sort of more waterproof fabric on the outside to prevent that from happening. That being said, I'm not sure if there is a better fabric option.
Okay Pad August 26, 2008 The Professor (Arlington WA) I bought these to use around the house and overnight in the hopes of saving money. They are fairly absorbent, but they do leak sometimes, and they shrink a bit on the first wash. I now pair them with a Lansinoh disposable (which I LOVE!), as it helps protect against any extra leaks.
work well- not sweaty like disposables July 3, 2008 Leslie Gordon I love these- they are soft and comfy. Disposable ones make me feel gross and sweaty like im wearing a plastic diaper. I have only had occasional leaks on days when I didn't nurse or pump enough, so I simply learned to keep an extra pair around- no big deal. I wash these separately in my mini wonder-washer so that they don't get mixed in with my clothes and lost. I dont really wear tight clothes- but when I do I just wear a heavier bra to cover the lines (not that it really matters who sees im wearing breast pads, everyone looks at the kid these days- not me!)
Leaky April 19, 2008 M. Powers (Boston, MA) I bought these prior to my son being born/before breastfeeding. I started using these in the beginning instead of the dispoables because they are less wasteful. I found these very bulky and would wake up every morning with soaking wet cotton breastpads, bra, and t-shirt. After that, I switched to the disposable medela breastpads a friend gave me to try; they are super thin and very absorbent and only $10 for a month supply (you only need to use two a day, they are that absorbent).
Super soft and Comfortable April 13, 2008 E. Mills (USA) I have been through 4 brands of disposables and also have several pairs of these. At first when I was sore and using nipple cream, I used the disposables. The yellow cream stains, so I didn't want to mess up my good pads. After I no longer needed cream, I moved on to the washable ones. I think they are so much softer and more comfortable than the disposables. I forget that I even have them on. I agree with other posters that they may not be as discreet as some of the disposables, but I don't really care. I don't wear too many tight clothes these days and if I did I could use disposables (to me the J&J and Avent disposables are the most discreet). I don't leak much anymore, so these are plenty sufficient to collect leakage. I have four pair. I generally do laundry once a week, with one load at some point mid-week. I'm able to always have some on hand.
