This is the best travel system. My husband and I both had a base in each car, which allowed us have only one of this award-winning, still consumer reports safest baby seat. You can take the baby in and out of the car without disturbing him or waking him up.
The stroller is really big, and really light for it's size. Our 3-year old son is now as big as a 5-year old and is still comfortable in it. The aluminum frame is strong and light, and the bottom has lots of storage. Snack tray with cup holder for the baby, 2! cup holders for the parent (great for coffee + cell phone & keys!).
I remove all the covers and straps twice a year and throws them in the washing machine, and they are still in perfect condition.
I went through many airports up to the gate with it. The baby chair is perfect for the airplane seat, and the stroller is taken at the gate and returned at the gate upon landing.
