Amazon.com Product Description

Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers offer soft, cloth-like comfort and feature stretchy leg gathers and closure tabs. In addition to keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, the absorbent polymer in these diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin.

All-Natural Natural Comfort for Your Child
Seventh Generation Chlorine-Free Diapers are made with your baby and your environment in mind. The chlorine-free materials and absorbent polymers used in the diapers help keep your baby dry in between changes and through the night. In addition to being effective at keeping baby dry and reducing the risk of diaper rash, studies show that the absorbent polymer used in the diapers is non-toxic and non-irritating to baby's sensitive skin.

Hypo-allergenic and offering soft, cloth-like comfort and premium absorbency, these diapers are made of chlorine-free absorbent materials that do not contribute to dioxin pollution. They feature super-stretchy resealable closure tabs and super-stretchy leg gathers that work to provide your baby with a comfortable, safe, close-fitting thin diaper.

Why Does Chlorine-Free Matter?
Your choice of our chlorine free diapers could help reduce cancer rates. Your choice of chlorine-free diapers helps reduce the amount of dioxin polluting our air, water and soil, and helps make the world a safer, healthier place for your family and generations to come.

When chlorine and chlorine derivatives are used in industrial processes (such as bleaching paper and wood pulp), they produce substances called chlorinated hydrocarbons, which persist in the environment, accumulate in animals and people, and can be toxic to human and environmental health. The production of chlorine can also release the toxic metal mercury into the environment.

If every household in the U.S. replaced just one 40-count package of conventional diapers with these chlorine-free diapers, we could avoid 133,000 pounds of pollution from entering the environment.

About Seventh Generation
Seventh Generation offers a complete line of natural household products designed to work as well as their traditional counterparts, but use renewable, non-toxic, and phosphate-free ingredients as often as possible, and are never tested on animals. Seventh Generation products are healthy and safe for the air, the surfaces, the pets, and the people in your home--and for the environment outside of it. Every time you use Seventh Generation products you make a difference by saving natural resources, keeping toxic chemicals out of the environment, and making the world a safer place for this and the next seven generations.

3 out of 5 stars Good product   August 19, 2008

Diapers are good and baby is rash-free. However the sizes are small espscially the littel velcro is not sufficient for the size range mentioned in the label.

5 out of 5 stars We Love 7th Gen Diapers!   August 17, 2008
J. Jackson (Florida United States)
We have two in diapers and use 7th Generations exclusively. They keep my babies' bums rash free or nearly rash free. I love purchasing them through Amazon because the diapers are far less expensive than at a grocery store (often almost 50% less), they come right to your home and it is so easy to have them delivered to an alternate address when we are traveling. I have told several other parents to give it a try. Our Prime membership has paid for itself and then some.

5 out of 5 stars best diapers, hands down   August 17, 2008
kbenn (costa rica)
i love these diapers, and i have never had an issue with leaking, they fit perfect on my girl's chubby bum and they are not overly saggy or bulky. have used them since stage 1, using stage 4 now, i will use these until we are done with diapers.

4 out of 5 stars Shockingly Absorbant   August 16, 2008
Natalie Tuck (United States)
I switched to these after I found out what was in disposable diapers. I hate that these diapers are twice the price so we now use mostly organic cloth diapers and only use these when we go out but they are just as absorbant as the Pampers Cruisers and Huggies Supreme diapers we used to use which was surprising to me. Also to note but of little importance is their color, I was used to the colorful cute diapers and these compared to those are very ugly, but definately worth the trade because of less dyes and such. But when I opened them I was a bit shocked at how unappealing they seemed. I do like them now but at first wasn't so happy about that.

1 out of 5 stars Very leaky, unreliable diapers   August 15, 2008
Joss Delage (Seattle, WA USA)
We are now at the stage 4 and the diapers have become amazingly leaky. This wasn't much of a problem for smaller sizes but on this stage the diapers leak 80% of the time (easily 4 leaks out of 5 changes). We were travelling and had to use the usual global brands (Pampers and the like) and we were amazed how so much more reliable they were compared to the Seventh Generation.

We had no problems at earlier stages and are happy about the baby wipes.
