Amateur production of Baby Einstein July 6, 2007 R. Anderson (Waipahu, HI) I bought this based on the good reviews it had. I was very disappointed and my 17 month old daughter doesn't even watch it. Dookie and Dottie look like puppets that were made by children, and the visuals of the toys look like someone was holding a handycam. It is shaky and the sound is very bad. The movement and camera angles switch rather quickly which I didn't think was appropriate for babies and toddlers. The shapes that sing are creepy like the Canadians in South Park (which I used to watch before I had my baby) where the upper portion is disconnected from the bottom portion. I guess compared to the Baby Einstein collection, this one doesn't cut it at all. There are some Baby Einsteins that are boring, such as the Shakespeare and Language Nursery, but at least my daugher will watch it. I definitely do not recommend this DVD if you've been watching Baby Einstein. Another really good DVD collection that my daughter loves is the Fisher Price baby ones (Nature Baby, Baby Moves, Musical Baby, and Baby's Day). She likes all four of them and I really recommend these, as they show lots of babies and repeat a lot of words. I'm thinking about donating the Baby Preschool DVD since it was such a waste of money that I could have used on something better.
One of my daughter's favorite DVDs May 16, 2007 S. Clark 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I just can't believe how my children love to watch Baby Prodigy over and over again. Great Job... It's become a must watch in our house hold on a daily basis.
Baby loves this the best! June 27, 2006 D. Richard (Texas) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
My son (19 months) loves this video. He has had this video for almost a year and still can't get enough of it. He has many of the Einstien videos and a few other "best of dvd's" but this one is always the one he wants to watch. He loves dancing around with the shape quartet and I love the fact that it talks to him and teaches him cause and effect, shapes, etc. It's interactive and not just pretty pictures.
Baby LOVES it!! January 8, 2005 Danielle C 7 out of 10 found this review helpful
My daughter loved the first Baby Prodigy DVD, which she started watching around 6 months old. She is now 14 months and the 2nd one finally came out. She loves it even more than the first. It is so much fun and so musical--she bops up and down and really gets into it. Baby Prodigy outdid themselves with this one!
