Preschool fundamentals--including shapes, colors, and the alphabet--are the focus of this one-hour program set in the after-school learning center familiar to viewers of Barney & Friends. Today, everyone is preparing for an art show, which provides plenty of scope for Barney's gentle tutorials on circles, squares, reds, and blues, while he incorporates beloved songs such as "Mister Sun." Viewers will be inspired by the students' art projects (which are easily replicated at home) as well as the lesson on mixing colors to create new hues. Then it's off to Baby Bop's tea party, a perfect segue into the realm of ABC's. As Baby Bop learns to spell her name, there are plenty of rhyming games and alphabet songs to incite audience participation. While lacking the originality of some of Barney's earlier music videos, there is no denying this lineup of merry songs and feel-good familiarity make this a cozy stroll into Barney's world. My daughter is 13 months old, and absolutely loves this DVD. She dances, claps, and is even attempting to sing at times... even when it is off she often bops around humming.

I only have one comment to say. This product took a month and a half to get to me. That was way too long seeing that I ordered another product at the same time on the same day that showed up within two weeks after purchase. I understand there are some delays due to wheather and all, but as I stated the other product I ordered showed up in two weeks.

My 3 years old loves Barney - Now I Know My ABC,s, and since we received this DVD she haven't watched any of her other DVD's.

I bought this for my 1 1/2 yr old daughter and she loves it! She actually learned from the video!!! She now knows most of her ABC's and different shapes and colors! The quality of the video is very good overall. I used to watch Barney videos from the past on VHS and they were horrible. This title is well edited and the acting is above average. All the songs are great too! I am planning to buy more Barney videos.

My daughter (& yes, I too) LOVE this DVD!! The songs are fun & it teaches shapes, colors, and letters (although the ABC's are just one segment so don't be expecting the whole DVD to be devoted to ABC's). BUT I highly recommend it - it's fun & very educational.
