I return it November 11, 2008 U. Farrell (Oceanside, CA USA) The product arrived pretty quick. It's very lightweight and compact but it's not stirdy. The seating area is too small and not deep enough for my boy. He is only 12 month (27LB and 30" long). No way he can sleep in there without his legs hang out too far. I thought I want to have something that can handle my boy till 3 year old. The plastic wheels are flimpsy. They turn easy but not the direction you want to go so I return it.
Love the features, but won't last past first kid October 25, 2008 E. Huh (Philadelphia) I love the features on this stroller, especially for the price. I love how it opens and folds up, the amazing recline, the basket, and great sun shade. The parent's organizer isn't the best, but hey, it came with one. Unfortunately, after three weeks of normal use (and I would go as far as to say light use) the front right wheel became very wobbly. I went back to Babies R Us to exchange it for another Combi, but when I asked the manager about how long another new Combi would last, he informed me it would not make it past my first child. If you drive it around, you can just tell. So for the price, it is cheaper to buy a Maclaren in the long run. I miss my Combi, but despite the Maclaren Triumph's cons (it really is not the easiest to close and the recline is horrible), it's the better financial choice. Especially with a 20% off coupon. Everything about the Maclaren is much sturdier, especially the wheels.
My BEST baby gear purchase! October 6, 2008 K. Huff (W. Lafayette, IN USA) This stroller, combined with the Shuttle car seat, has been by far the best baby gear purchase we have made thus far. It is so convenient being able to keep the car seat base in our car and just latch him in and out of it, although one small drawback is that I have weak hands and it is hard for me to get the car seat to release from the car base, but I figure that's probably a good thing if I'm ever in an accident. The stroller is light-weight and folds very compactly. It is easy to throw over my shoulder and carry. I have successfully carried 10 plastic grocery bags, the large diaper bag, a case of pop, the combi helio stroller, and my son in his shuttle car seat into a friend's house in one trip! It was uncomfortable, yes, but I did it and I don't think it would have been possible with any other travel system. I feel that the stroller is very heavy-duty despite it's light weight. It rolls over grass easily. The wheels could be a little more seamless in their turning capabilities, but it isn't noticeable enough to hamper movement. I haven't used it without the shuttle in it yet because my son is only 4 months old, but so far I love it!
My 2 year old grandson loves it September 18, 2008 Teresa Puertas (Alameda,CA) 4 stars only because the front wheels offer some resistance, so when I enter an elevator or have to go inside my home I have to turn the stroller around and pull it in. Also, I am not very happy with the canopy. A movable canopy to protect the child from the sun or wind is what every stroller should have. And this is what I expected. To solve this problem I once placed a light blanket on top of the canopy, living the sides open. He used the sides as windows. Now, every time we go out he wants the blanket on so he can peek from the inside of "his home". He is 26 months old. On the positive side, it carries my grandson, who has a wide bone structure, very comfortably. It has nice suspension and the front tray works great for his crackers and apple juice. The seat is also very comfortable.
good stats, bad functionality September 10, 2008 A. D. Decuir (atlanta, ga) i'm a new mom and petite. wanted something lightweight and stylish and loved the stats on this stroller. used it for the first time yesterday and the steering is horrible for maneuvering in tight spaces and turns. limited basket space. would not recommend
