5 out of 5 stars Exactly what I was looking for!   July 24, 2008

I am SO happy with this stoller! I have a 9 month old. We have an Urban Advantage for our "heavy" stroller and I love it but I haven't been able to find a lightweight daily stroller that I like, until now. I did a lot of searching and research and bought this blind, without ever having seen one, but it's exactly what I wanted. Here are the features I was looking for that this stroller has:

- Lightweight but still has butt support for the child! Every lightweight stroller I've seen just has material or padding. My son was 20 lbs. at 6 months and his poor little body has just been sunk down in the previous lightweight stroller we had. This is actually a lightweight stroller with an actual supported seat and I love it. He actually sits up high now and he looks so comfortable.

- The recline adjust is actually a set adjust (three positions), not just a string you pull and loosen to move the seat back up and down (another thing all the other lightweight strollers seem to have, if they even have recline).

- Parent cup-holder.

- Not just a bar in front of the child but a cupholder (two) AND a tray for me to put his food in.

- The canopy is AWESOME. This wasn't a huge concern for me but I'm thrilled with the canopy coverage this stroller has. And I didn't care at all that there were cool polka dots on the inside of the canopy, but now I do because my sons loves them!

- Front wheels that turn.

- Back wheels that lock.

- 5 point harness that can easily convert to a 3 point harness.

Other cool things I didn't care so much about but now also love about this stroller:

- The handlebar adjusts for different heights.
- It actually does have a latch that holds it closed when you collapse it (the demo video I saw of this stroller didn't seem to show one).
- The basket is a great size - and the diaper bag that attaches to the handle that came with it is great to just put a few things in for small errands.
- The little leg extension part that folds down (for bended legs) or folds up so they have something to rest their legs on straight if they're asleep (or like mine right now where his legs are too short to bend down anyways) - love it!

I'm trying to think of anything else - I don't have anything bad to say about this stroller and I'm so thrilled to have found such a great one with absolutely all the big and little things I was looking for on a stroller at such a reasonable price!

We've been through 4 strollers and finally, we've found the perfect one! We had 2 graco's, one chicco and now this one. It's super light, very compact, but has 3 things that to us, were a must have...1-leg extention for when the baby falls asleep 2-full recline 3-good size basket. I love the color, too! I wish I would've found this stroller 4 years ago!

i was looking for a stroller that had an ample canopy. it seems these days stroller canopies are pretty small but this one is great! the canopy is large and provides much needed shade for your little one. great stroller.

We love this stroller! It has everything we were looking for: lightweight, folds compactly, huge canopy, very generous storage basket, sturdy, manuevers well, good wheels/tires (not too small). It seems to be essentially the Torino remade to fit the newer (and MUCH MUCH nicer) Combi Connection carseat (we were fans of the older Graco snug carseat that we used with our other kids -- were so disappointed in the newer version. The Combi connection was the most convenient carseat we checked out. This was one factor in buying the Spoleto, though now after using the stroller I think it would be a great buy even without the carseat factor.) So far ours has travelled through several airports well in addition to rough urban terrain in SE Asia. It maneuvers WONDERFULLY and has an adjustable handlebar. The seat reclines flat with a super convenient button on the back. The attached diaper bag is a nice bonus -- I find it just the right size for most outtings (I don't like carrying luggage-like diaper bags), and it is convenient how it snaps around the handlebars, leaving the full basket for other uses. The sun canopy, which again is enormous, has a small viewing window that can be covered with a flap. The stroller feels very sturdy/well made, and yet is very lightweight. Its just about perfect.
