Ok August 30, 2010 Nika6 Bought this Cosco to replace my infant seat...my son seems to like it but I wish it had more padding. The green is a little brighter than I expected.....but it will do.
you get what you paid for August 22, 2010 M. Rivera (fuquay varina, nc) not the best seat. its ok for short trips. the more expensive ones are more plush and adjustable. this is hard and uncomfortable.
My 2 year old looks very uncomfortable August 19, 2010 alisha fox (Canal winchester, OH, OH United States) I wanted to like this car seat and was so excited to get it but after using it for 2 weeks I just can't bare to make my 2 year old sit in it any more. We had an Evenflo Symphony but when the second baby came along a few months ago it became impossible to bring anyone else along in our SUV (Mercury Mariner) because with the Evenflo Symphony and the Graco SafeSeat2 there was only about 8 inches left in between them. I decided we had to get a more narrow seat and after researching decided it had to be the Sunshine Kids Radian but my husband said there had to be a more narrow seat that was cheaper and he found the Scenera. We were so excited that we decided to go ahead and buy 2 so that we'd be ready when the new baby outgrows his infant seat in a few months. Haven't decided if the Sceneras are going back or going to be used as back-up seats for Grandma's car for occasional use.
My biggest gripe is that the straps are difficult and uncomfortable. Maybe I would have been content with this seat if I hadn't had him in the Symphony for the past year and a half. I know he looked alot more comfortable and could sleep much better. I never really felt like the Symphony was super great until now. We chose the Symphony because we got a really good deal at the time.
Disappointed.... August 18, 2010 FISH (MN United States) I purchased this car seat based on the Consumer Reports review as well as the Amazon Reviews. I am very disappointed in the quality. The seat has no cushioning making it very uncomfortable to travel any distance. I plan to use this as a seat for our second car but will spend the money on a Britax for our main car.
Perfect for last-minute trip August 16, 2010 SlyB (San Francisco, CA United States) The car seat was exactly what we needed for a last-minute trip from my nephew. The description is accurate, it was easy to install, and the shipment came on time!
