The CARES Harness was easy to set up and use. It kept my very active two-year-old in her seat for several international flights of over ten hours each way. Plus, it fit into the front pouch of my carry-on bag.

These restriantCares Child Aviation Restraint System and DVD COMBO! harnesses are a joy for parents flying with young children. Parents can check car seats through luggage and simply carry the light weight harness on. It is easy to install in the seat. Both of my grandchildren use them for air travel and my daughter loves the convenience and safety.

I have a 3 year old daughter and we fly several times each year. Now that many of the airlines don't let you board early with kids and car seats are such a pain in the neck to carry around the airport I was searching for another answer. I carefully researched this product and tried it in July on a short flight before we fly cross country later this year. The CARES seat belt converter is wonderful - it made our trip a million times easier and I felt like our daughter was safe and secure, which is clearly more important. My one criticism is similar to other reviews I read before purchasing - it would be better if the CARES belt made a 5 point harness instead of a 3 point harness. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. That said, my daughter did not slide down or anything and we were happy with the way she was positioned in the seat. The installation is very quick and simple and obviously carrying a little seat belt adapter was a welcome relief from previously lugging a huge car seat. I would absolutely buy this again and am SO thankful to have found it.

I bought this because my mom was flying alone with my 2 yr old and I wanted to make it as easy as possible for her, but still keep my child safe. She said it was really easy to install and kept him in his seat and safe!!! Can't wait to fly with him to see for myself how great it is. When I went to pick him up from the airport, I saw several other parents carrying carseats and was so thankful that we didn't have to do that!!
