Product Description Belt positioning boosters are the biggest advancement in child safety in years. Automobile seat belts are designed for children above 57" tall. The First Years Compass B510 Booster Car Seat has a five-star Ease of Use rating. The First Years Compass B510 Booster Car Seat was one of only two high back booster seats to receive five stars and the only seat to receive five stars in every category to date under the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) new Ease of Use rating system. Safety advocates suggest that your child ride in a booster as long as possible. Most states have enacted legislation to keep children in boosters until ages 6 to 8 years. But, what it takes to keep an older child content is not the same as baby. This is an age when children are busy in activities and moms, dads and grandparents are all involved in dropping off and picking up the children. The Compass Deluxe Folding Booster Car Seat provides the answers for both you and your child. The patented folding features take moving the seat from car to car and storing in the trunk to a new level of convenience. It's not just for travel, it is a seat that fits your daily lifestyle. Deluxe padding will keep your child comfortable and content, even on long trips. Rotating arm rests make installation easier because the belt path is clear. The rotating arm rests also improve the ease of use because children have an easier time crawling in and out by themselves. The back support stays fully enclosed as the height is adjusted. This means side support and protection in every position. The head rest has a full EPS foam (bicycle helmet foam) liner to absorb energy in an impact. And the deeper side wings provide additional protection for your child. The six-position height adjust will grow with your child. Features: - Narrow bottom rails allow the seat to fit into sculpted bucket seats even in small cars
- Taller, higher belt path (2") to

Very nice but I was surprised... August 25, 2008 elizaduckie The purchase went smoothly and was delivered very quickly. However I can't give the product a five star because, although my granddaughter loved it and it fits her well even at just 30lbs [the minimum wt.], I wanted it to feel more stable. It is not attached to the car other than by using the regular adult two point seat belt which fits well, and easily, into the child's booster seat. Perhaps all boosters are this way. It never occurred to me that a booster seat --which is now suggested [and fits] children up to about ten yrs of age -- would not be attached using extra secure means. Meaning using more than the car's own seatbelt! Modern cars already have extra attachments for the use of a baby car seat, why not take advantage of them for the booster? No one mentioned this in all the reviews that I read before purchasing.
nice booster! August 24, 2008 Larc Bogdan (Detroit area, MI) We really liked that this folds up, we took it on a trip and it worked out well. My daughter really loves it, now she feels like a big kid!
great booster seat August 16, 2008 TCB (New Orleans, LA) We ordered this booster for our 4 year old daughter and are very pleased with it. She loves it, too. She is able to sleep in it comfortably, which was important to me as she sleeps in the car alot. The only drawback I have found is she is unable to buckle herself - yet. I'm sure she'll get it. Otherwise we are very happy.
Grows with Her August 15, 2008 Kevin M. Roof (San Diego, CA United States) We love the Compass seat. First we got it for our son at 5 and every time he wasn't in the car, my 4-year old wanted to sit in it. We had her in the Marathon. But as she continues to grow, it was a great time to transition them both to the booster seat. We love the cup holders, arm rest, and fun colors for their preference. I like that it supports their back and neck more than some of the little square blocks we have seen. We are happy with it and I also like how it folds in half for easy carrying when needed.
Great Car Seat August 11, 2008 Massimo Amadio So far so good. The seat was an easy installation, is comfortable (according to my daughter), and she seems to sleep in in much easier than the old seat she outgrew. Shipment arrived within the window provided by Amazon.
