Just too nice to color in them...February 23, 2007 Rebecca M. Sorcini(Glendale,CA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought 10 copies of this coloring book (& crayons) to give out to toddlers at a Peter Rabbit-themed party instead of the usual tooth-rotting candy and common choking hazard-sized toys. Using the original illustrations, this book was overall better quality than most current Peter Rabbit Books and it was almost hard to let the kids color them. I always thought Dover coloring books were pricey but after visiting the local chain drugstore, realized that it was comparable to most average (newsprint quality paper) coloring books. Always worth it! PS - I have found that many parents color in coloring books (secretly) and have found it fun doing so with my toddler. She is currently coloring the Peter Rabbit book and I am coloring the Van Gogh book. Very Theraputic - and I can finally color in the lines!
