A cheery boxed set of three favorite titles by three authors will bring smiles and giggles galore. The set, which features on the cover a jubilant Little Nutbrown Hare, star of Guess How Much I Love You, by Sam McBratney, also includes Jez Alborough's popular and deceptively simple Hug and the charming Love and Kisses, by Sarah Wilson. From one-upping rabbit love to mama chimp love to girl-cat-cow-goose-fish love, each of these appealing picture books demonstrates the power and delight in a well-placed expression of affection. Ideal for bedtime coziness or reading aloud any time, all three board books are available here in one gratifying and sweet suite. Love: it's not just for Valentine's Day anymore! I Love it THIS MUCH! March 17, 2003 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I really love this book. Maybe it's because it was a gift from me to my son for Valentine's day or because I get to read it to him. I enjoyed all 3 books included because it was short enough for a typical toddlers short attention span, and it was heartwarming because we got to hug and cuddle and show how much we love each other afterwards. This is a great book to share with those you LOVE.

I am a mother of an 18 month old and a child care provider of children 12 months to 5 years in age. I got these books as a Valentine's Day present for my daughter and she loved them. She especially liked Hug, and asked me to read all 3 of them to her over and over (She brings the book and puts it in my hand as she sits on my lap). The children in my care like them just as much. In fact, Hug was the first book the 5 year old in my care read. She may not know how to read yet, but she recognizes letters and she memorized (by sight) the 3 simple words on the book (you read right, 3 words repeated at different times). She felt so proud that she could read a book to the babies. It gave her a wonderful boost in her self-esteem! The books are beautiful and simple, the way books should be for this age group. I would recomend it for parents of babies and toddlers especially. Some preschoolers may find them too simple for parents to read to them, but they may like them to try to read themselves.

This book is one of my favorites to read to my children because it expresses just how a parent feels for their child. I am not a gushy person, but I too get choked up on the last page. A must for any new parent.
Guess how much I hate this book February 4, 2002 3 out of 31 found this review helpful
This book has pictures and a story that are supposed to be cute and may be that to some people. I couldn't stomach reading this to my child more than once. If you want to hear yourself repeating "little nut brown hair" and "big nut brown hair" countless times, then by all means buy this book. The pictures are soft pastel and are not very exciting for young children. My child (14 months old) loves this book the least.

I like that book. It is the best book for my bed time story and my mommy and daddy read it to me and I like it. Debbie
