This is a lovely little book. Most children's books are cute, and the rhymes aren't new--they're the old traditional ones. But the padded cover, the rounded corners, and the overall size and feel of the book are wonderful. It's a book that's lovely just to hold. The pictures are adorable and the book is stuffed with rhymes, which my son, 2.5, is really into right now. We have a lot of books, and I like most of them quite well, but this one is special.

I bought this book for my 1 year-old daughter and so far she loves it. It has a padded cover which is nice, rounded edges on the cover and the pages (so she won't poke her eye out) and the board pages are pretty easy for her to turn. She doesn't quite have the patience to listen to me read the whole book yet - or even one entire page - but I am sure that she will grow into that. I like it because my daughter LOVES playing with books and it's a book that's easy to give to her to play with by herself. I also love the binding - it lays flat when it's open, instead of closing on itself. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I haven't had to the chance to test it out on an older child but I can't imagine why an older child wouldn't love it, too. My little girl loves it more and more every day.

My 2 girls, 2 and 4, love reading this book I borrowed from our local library so much and I placed order for this book and the other "Twinkle twinkle little star" one on Amazon after I saw the enthusiam they showed in reading this book togather over and over again.
The selection of the rhymes are very good, my girls are already very familiar with almost all of the rhymes, so they love to see the cute illustrations and relate the images to the rhymes in a better fun way.
The number of selections are good, there are a lot of little rhymes in one right size book, so my girls can enjoy reading (actually singing) the book for at least 10+ minutes.
The quality of the book is super! The corners are rounded, which I like the best. I never like sharp corner books since Kids can hurt if they are not careful with the books.
My 4 year old is very excited when she learned that I am buying them this book. I believe this book can be treasured and last for a long time.
