i decided to order this instead of the aden and anaias sleeping bag. (and we love aden and anaias swaddlers). after reading some reviews that the aden and anaias sleeper is somewhat flimsy and more expensive, i decided on the halo version. it is cheaper and very well made. i put my son in it almost every night (except when it is in the wash) with just a diaper underneath. it is great for summer nights in the cool air conditioning. i have been using it regularly for about 2 months now. it holds up great in the wash and has not faded. it is very roomy too. my 6 month old it about 17 lbs. and i think he will be able to wear the medium size till he is over 1 year old. i am very pleased.

Our son started sleeping in these at 6 months old when he was too strong to be swaddled anymore. As long as he's in long sleeves and footie pajamas, the weight of this is enough to keep him warm. The reverse zipper is hard to get used to at first, but you get the hang of it. We have the medium, and at 30" and nearly 24 pounds, he's just now to the point that we're considering ordering the next size up. I love that the fabric does not contain any fire retardant chemicals because they've been linked with SIDS-- we also ordered a mattress wrap from New Zealand to make sure that he wasn't breathing any off-gassing fire retardant chemicals.

We have used these halo blankets for many years. Our daughter is almost 2 and prefers to sleep in her sack instead of a blanket. Plus, it helps to keep her from climbing out of the crib!

I am very pleased with Halo Sleep sacks. My son (6 months) has been sleeping in them since birth. This particular sack is a great size. It looks big but fits a 15lb baby safely and snugly up top but leaves room to grow too. The material is a good weight for average indoor nighttime temps and it holds up well to daily washing. Great product, worth the $$$!

We put our daughter in this lightweight cotton sleepsack during the warm summer nights, and the heavier fleece sleepsack on colder nights. The Sleepsack is a great product - it would be impossible to keep a blanket on her!
