I don't know why these aren't more readily available in baby stores. Alas, Amazon has all the good stuff. Anyway, this apron is definitely worth having. It's good quality, very thick and fluffy absorbent cotton. Even though it's not lined with plastic or anything on the back, I stay pretty much dry. And it's so much easier than fumbling with towels under my chin while juggling the baby. Adds a sense of security to bathing a newborn for sure, and I think will continue to be useful as baby gets older.

This wonderfull baby towel has been such a help for me. I am a person that has had doubts.I baby sit my grandchild about once a week,I found the Stay Dry Baby towel helps me to stay dry as well as drying my love and joy. What a great idea, only if I had this product when I was a young mother. If I could I would give it 10 stars.

This product is definately a must have for bathtime with your baby. I have a 7 month old son, and when I was given this product, I just assumed it was a bath towel for my baby - as I have several already. Not the case. It's actually for the person giving the baby a bath to wear like a smock, so they don't get wet. It's made of very high quality terry cotton, so the absorbancy is amazing. As much splashing as my son does during bathtime, I love the fact that I now stay dry. I'm also not afraid to cuddle him close because he's cozy, while i stay dry!!

I've never written a review on a product before, but this one is so great I just had to let other moms know about it!!
I'd been so used to the frustrations of dealing with a squirmy wet baby after bath time that I'd gotten to dread it. By the time I was through bathing my 3 mo. old son in his tub I was soaked, holding him at arm's length while removing him from the bath water and fumbling with his towel! It was nerve wracking every time and I kept thinking there must be a better way. Recently I was given the Stay-dry Bath Apron and Towel by a friend who'd just gotten one as a baby gift herself. She was so excited about it that she got one for me at Baby Depot. Just as she'd suspected, I couldn't have been more pleased. Not only does it keep me dry while my son splashes in his tub, but as I carry him to the tub while wearing it I've withstood a few bare bottom accidents! The best part is that now when I get him out of the tub I can hold him to me lovingly all the way to the changing table while he stays warm and cozy.
It's like a long wide towel that velcros around the neck (like a bib) and ties at the back from inside the waistline. After you've put it on and hold your baby to you you bring the bottom of the bath apron up and over your baby's bare little body. It's also great because I know my son won't slip out of my arms, which was also a big fear of mine before using this! I highly recommend this to every parent ..... and grandparent!! I got an extra one for my mom's house and she loves it as much as I do. One more thing, the quality is great!!! Thick, soft, and really absorbant. . .and it's easy to put on and take off. I also love the bath mitt that comes with it. It has elastic around the wrist so that it doesn't float around my hand like other mitts and wash cloths. Forget the thin awkward bath towel sets they sell at the stores! They're ridiculous! This is the BEST, and it's become my routine gift at all my expectant friends' baby showers.
