Product Description
From the Manufacturer Be comfortable: the design of Moby wrap for it uses your entire back, as well as your shoulders, to carry the weight of your baby. Unlike other carriers, which have narrow straps or go across one shoulder, the Moby wrap is a wide piece of fabric that is wrapped over both shoulders. It is amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. There are no buckles, snaps or other fasteners. It is easy to adjust the fit of your Moby wrap by varying how tightly you wrap yourself and your baby. Be secure: the Moby wrap comes with an easy to follow instructional guide, with the single stretch cotton and the width of the Moby wrap, your baby is wrapped close and tight, insuring a secure hold. Your baby's head can also be secured under the stretchy cotton fabric for added safety. Be uniquely close to your baby: there is not a lot of extra material or bulky padding between you and your baby. Your baby can hear your heartbeat and finds comfort in the warmth of your body, along with the cuddly confines of the Moby wrap. Comfortably supports babies from birth to 35 pounds - even twins. The Moby wrap is long enough to adapt to your growing baby. Moby wraps measure 5.5 meters in length and Moby DS measure 5 meters. All Moby baby carriers can accommodate babies up to 35 pounds. Versatile: there are many ways to wear your Moby wrap. You can wear baby cradled, facing you, facing the world or as a sling. Product Description The Moby Wrap is one of the most comfortable and versatile ways to wear your baby. There is no other place your baby would rather be.

5 out of 5 stars A Must-Have for New Babies!!!!!!   July 30, 2010
Chelle (California)
There really is no other way to love and nurture your newborn baby like you can with a baby wrap carrier. I bought a similar handmade wrap from another website, and while I got to pick the fabric and the pattern, it in no way can compare to this wrap! With the Moby wrap, I love the finished edges, the tapered ends, the length and the width. My 8 week old baby feels very secure and snug in it all day long =) Makes for a very happy household!

3 out of 5 stars A bit tooooo warm for the summer   July 23, 2010
Em C. (Davis)
I really like this wrap. My son is happy in it, but in the summer it's a bitch! I don't know about other women, but having sweat streaming down my face and back and front is not my idea of fun or comfortable! Seriously, all that fabric wrapped around me and the babay...way too much bulk and body heat. My son got a heat rash from being in it.

I'd opt for either a sling for young babies, or a front pack or ergo for older babies in the summer months. It was awesome when he was a newborn in the winter months, but at 5 months in anything above 85 I'd prefer something more breathable.

~It's easy to set up. If I'm taking the car somewhere I wrap myself up at home so I can just load the boy in at the store/park, etc.

~It's comfortable for baby; mine at least. From newborn up to 5 months now (15+ lbs) he hasn't complained!

~Comfortable for me; minus the sweating. I have a front pack, but it makes my back ache. Not with the Moby. My back is pain free.

~More freedom for baby. My boy really likes using his arms and they're more restricted in front packs than with the Moby.

~Hides baby fat. I like that.

1 out of 5 stars This was not for us.   July 22, 2010

A friend suggested we purchase this. She had one and loved it, but it was not for me. I spent an hour attempting to figure out how to put the stupid thing on before I just gave up. It is crazy long. I'm petite, (5'2 and 110 pounds). I could wrap the "extra" around my waist 3 times. I did eventually sort of get the wrap on only to discover my baby hated it. He kicked and wiggled the entire time. I ended up ordering a Bjorn, which I love. If you are short, I would think twice about getting this.

4 out of 5 stars awesome wrap   July 20, 2010

I love the wrap & bag & booklet that comes with it. I would have rated it 5 *'s but in the Florida heat the knit fabric is just a bit too hot.

1 out of 5 stars I felt like I was caught in a fabric store nightmare   July 14, 2010
shopper (Ankara, Turkey)
I have read a many wonderful reviews of this products -- met many women (don't know any men who use them) who love it. But I found the whole thing horrible. I just felt lost in the endless yards of fabric...I kept wrapping and wrapping and wrapping. It was like living in a cocoon without the turning into a butterfly at the end -- hot, bulky, too time consuming to get on. I'm 5'6", but very thin by American standards, so perhaps this is my problem??? Though the models in the pictures look pretty thin and seem to be having no problem. I found the Bjorn much better, a sling even better and finally an ERGO a dream machine. Sadly I didn't find the ERGO until my daughter was 20 months, and then at 24 months I got pregnant again and was worried about strapping anything to my belly. Anyway, hope this works better for you. I'm going to try the Moby out again with this baby because I want to believe it can work for me too...that being said, wish I had never wasted money on this. Buy an ERGO. I know people who can still carry their 4 year olds around in it. You need an additional insert for newborns with the ERGO, so I'll use the Moby and Bjorn and sling until the baby can switch to the ERGO.
