Nice idea, but very poorly build - A don't buy item. June 23, 2010 M. Edens 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Seriously, this would have been 5 stars if it was manufactured correctly. The lid for the little tray doesn't stay in place, the plastic of the lid is too flexible. The beehive toy pops out of the ledge when bee is being pulled, what's a potential hazard for the baby (could slam into his/her face). Some of the other toys around the baby are still in place, but will fail with a little more pulling force. The metal curve with the tracking bees is cute, but our 10 month old little guy arched one day backwards and got stuck with his head under the curve while getting back up, meaning the curve should have been constructed higher up. And at last... the little tree where the baby can walk around is cute (it's like a soft pillow with fun gadget on it), but the polyester "hair" filling is pulling through the fabric constantly... what gets easily on his fingers and in his month. A big F and this thing ain't cheap. I recommend NOT to buy this for your precious little one.
Good product June 9, 2010 2nd time mother I bought this walker after a long time searching online for a walker that could work my son's legs but where he is not able to just walk all around the room pulling stuff down. Don't get me wrong I do love the walker!!! The only heartburn I have is the toys are a little too easy to remove. I bought this for my 4 1/2 month old son (at the time he was 13 pounds) could easily remove the toys by leaning the toys towards himself while trying to chew on them. Within a month, he had the toys out of the holes in a matter of seconds. He would pull one out, look at it, drop it on the floor and move on to the next one. So I am constantly picking up the 'flower', 'snail', and 'mirror flower' toys. That is my only pet peeve with the walker. Maybe if there was a mechanism on the bottom of the toys to allow the parents to easily take out the toys would have made this walker perfect for me.
Baby loves it. Durable May 31, 2010 S. Steenburg (Charleston, SC, United States) My baby has been using this for 2 months now. She is extremely rough on it. She can "pick" the flower and pull the snail out (they snap back in). I have read in multiple reviews that the stuffing will eventually start to come out of the tree. That has not happened to us yet, but the way she tugs on the tree leaves, I am sure that day will come soon. I did not realize tugging on the leaves made a sound until just the other day. She loves the little bee that you can pull out and it buzzes on it's way back in. She does not yet seem interested to make it walk in a circle, but she can make the seat spin 360 degrees now. This entertains her anywhere from 5 minutes up to 30 minutes once or twice a day. She is entertained and I can get a load of dishes done or dinner made, it is a great baby gear item.
Good product May 15, 2010 J. Koziol (Chicago) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We looked into several different styles of exersaucers, and decided on this model based on others reviews. Our little guy really enjoys the toys attached (flower mirror, rattle snail, buzzing bee, etc.). Only problems I see with this model are one time I was taking him out of it and he bent his knees up while pulling him out and scratched the tops of his knees on the under side of the rotating seat. The under side of the seat is not covered by padding or fabric, so just keep in mind when getting your kid out. Also the on/off switch for the brake doesn't really work that great. You really have to push down on the switch to get it to lock in.
Great Exersaucer April 15, 2010 N. Freeman (Houston, TX) We bought this for our 2nd daughter who is now 5 1/2 months old. I wanted something that would entertain her and that had a variety of "toys" to keep her occupied. This exersaucer is just what I was looking for. We haven't tried out the "walking" feature as of yet but otherwise- it keeps my 5 month old entertained for a good 20-30 minutes at a time. A quick tip- we attach some of her pull toys to the "bar" part so that she can play with them while standing; she LOVES to stand!
