Develop Baby's Walking Muscles
The Around We Go Activity Station is a unique take on the stationary activity centers that are so popular for infants today. While some activity centers have a seat in the center for the baby that's encircled by an activity tray, the Around We Go station is configured to let baby "walk" around the toys instead.

The activities are positioned on a sturdy, plastic table. The baby seat, which is supported by two wheeled legs, attaches to it. Baby sits in the bucket-shaped seat with his feet firmly planted on the ground. He can learn to push off the ground, propelling himself around the table to get to the activity of his choice.

Unique Toys for Creative, Challenging Play
The Around We Go station is also fresh and unique in the activities it offers. It includes many of the favorite "stand-bys" of other activity centers -- bendable stalk toys that encourage tactile exploration, spinning and moving characters that help babies learn about cause and effect. Babies will find these toys entertaining and educational. But we were especially delighted by the magnetic drawing board that includes cute character shapes that let babies make their own, erasable drawings. And the piano keyboard, which has three play modes, features fun, upbeat music that's actually catchy to listen to. It also plays piano tones and cartoonish, animal voices.

Perks for Baby and Parents
We love the ingenuity of the Around We Go station's set up. Rather than keeping your baby stationary like other activity centers, it helps him satisfy his urge to move; he actually can make himself go from one point to another by using his feet. This gives baby vital, leg-strengthening exercises in a much safer and secure environment than baby walkers. There are perks for parents, too: you can lock the baby seat in place in front of the included snack tray to let him snack safely, and the seat fabric is easily removable and conveniently machine washable.

One drawback: this toy is a bit cumbersome, which may present a problem if your living space is limited. However, the seat easily detaches from the table for more compact storage. In fact, when your baby is able to walk on his own, he doesn't have to abandon this toy: simply remove the seat, and he can play at the table independently.

This toy requires adult assembly. You'll need a Phillips screwdriver, as well as three C batteries for the toy piano.

3 out of 5 stars It's okay   November 17, 2008
Andrea (San Diego)
My six month old likes it okay. The music panel is great! She loves to play the music. But I think the rest of the activties could be a bit better. The fish are a downright waste of space. The buttons are supposed to push some force through the fish pond to make them swim around. However, it doesn't work. They don't move. She does teethe on the soft squeaky bird.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome Toy!!!   November 11, 2008
Mercedes Johnmeyer (Kingsland, GA)
I bought this when my son was about 4mos old...it's 5 months later, and this is still a favorite! He was a little young when I bought it, but after awhile he felt comfortable walking around and playing with all the fun stuff this toy has. Once he got the hang of it, he would run around that table as fast as his little legs would carry him! It's also a great place for him to be when I have things to do...dishes, vacuuming, laundry, etc.

The only complaint I have is my son is now 9mos old...he's a very tall boy, and since he's not yet walking, I like to put him in this to get some exercise. However, I can't for too long cause he's now too tall for it. I've raised the seat to the highest setting, but it's still not high enough...when in it, his knees almost touch the ground! I'm just going to have to put it away till he can walk...then I can detach the seat and he'll have an activity tabletop! Overall, this was definitely a worthwhile purchase! I highly recommend!

We ordered this when our son was four months old. He could barely touch his feet for awhile, but now he is six months old and he is loving it! He runs around this table like you would not believe. All of the toys on the table really do entertain him. He will stay in this toy for a long time, which is precious! What I love about it is that we don't have to worry about him walking all over the house. He stays put around the table. We also love that this table can be used by older kids as well and it is not just a walker. My friend's two year old daughter loved playing with it when she came over and I have other friends who comment on how great the toy is. We highly recommend it.

This was a teriffic purchase for my grand daughter. She can walk or run around and around the fun table without getting into any trouble. This is much safer than a regular walker. I'm SO glad I bought this!

4 out of 5 stars Mixed Feelings   October 20, 2008
Catherine Outten (Long Beach, CA)
There are things I love and things I hate about this toy. The concept is lots of fun, and when my twins hit about 8mos, they were running around it like mad. Like another reviewer noted, it is very lightweight and they easily drag it across the floor. I also tried taken the removable seat off when the twins started standing, but it is so lightweight and top heavy that if they try to pull up on it it falls over, so I put the seat back on for stability. One big problem I had with it is that there is a toy where the kid pulls a string and it pulls back in making a piece spin around. This was actually one of the first toys my son was able to interact with, but a few weeks ago, he got it wrapped around his finger and the string was pulling in so tight I had a hard time getting his rapidly turning purple finger out. Bad idea for little guys.
