Gift for Granddaughters May 4, 2008

I bought the first My Friend Emily this last Christmas for my first granddaughter and it was a great success. Even though she is older than the recommended age, she had some developmental issues that this doll has actually helped her with such as improving her grasping skills and other motor skills. My newest granddaughter, who we call Emily, was just born this last month and will be receiving her "My Friend Emily" very soon. These are terrific dolls. I think they are for the little girls even longer than the suggested age of 12 months. My first granddaughter loves hers and she is soon to be 2 years old. Her skills have improved greatly thanks to her "Friend Emily". This toy is not only great for learning, play, and as a friend, but it is appears to be good for physical therapy as well.

Our twin girls love this doll. They are now 7 months old and play with it everyday. They like the crinkly dress and they use the rings to hold on to it. Claire is teething and she likes chew on the doll's feet since they are ribbed on the bottom. This is their favorite toy by far. I would definitely recommend it.

My mom bought this for my daughter before she was born. From the Day we brought Ava home, she has loved this toy. She was just fascinated with the bright colors and loved the crinkly noise. She hated being in the car when she was a little baby and I finally hung Emily up for her to look at and she was content in the car always. Excellent purchase!

I LOVE this doll!!! Someone gave one to my baby as a gift & we took it Evereywhere we went... until it disappeared at someone's house we were visiting. We just had to go buy another one. This colorful doll squeaks, crunches, rattles, had different textures to feel, and easily clips on to just about anything. I would recommend this doll to any mother who has a baby girl!
