Big hit January 1, 2009 B. White (Edgewood, MD United States) I purchased this for my 3-year-old son for Xmas. I paid a few dollars more for it than at the stores, but most of the stores were sold out. Anyway, my son saw this in the package at one store before Xmas and didn't even want to look at it. On Xmas when we opened it, he REALLY enjoyed it. I hear him making Batman and Robin talk to each other and doing all kinds of stuns. This was one of his favorite presents. I am so happy I ordered it.
A Favorite Christmas Present December 31, 2008 S. Morgenstein (Ohio, USA) My 5 1/2 yr old received this for Christmas this year, and absolutely loves it. There are so many parts that move with the bat cave, it keeps him entertained for hours. There are some small accessory parts that come with it, however about half of them have already been lost. We're planning on getting him some more of the characters in this series to compliment the bat cave, although his army guys and other action figures have already moved into the bat cave. This is a great toy with many possibilities for imaginative play.
Excellent job imaginext! December 30, 2008 C. Lansing This was - hands down - the most popular toy under the Christmas tree. It has not lost any of it's appeal in the weeks following. It is very durable, comes with many cool features (opening doors, elevator, moving parts) and keeps my three boys (5,3,2) entertained for hours. I can't wait for the next superhero house that Imaginext makes.
Durable, fun & classic December 30, 2008 Heidi Namba (Renton, WA USA) I have 3 boys. Ages 8, 5, & 3. I purchased this for my 3 year old for Christmas and all of the boys love playing with it. You can find this toy for a lot less expensive especially if it's on sale ($24.99 at ToysRUs last week). I guess my only complaint would be that there are so many little pieces that are part of this toy that keeping them all together is next to impossible. This toy is very durable, can be wiped clean easily, can be played with from both front & back and is wide enough that my 3 boys can play with it all at the same time. If you can manage to keep all of the little pieces together, then it's a great toy to own.
Tons of fun, you can't go wrong, but watch the price gouging on Amazon! December 29, 2008 Reez1972 (Bolingbrook IL) My 3 1/2 year old absolutely loves this toy - and I must say it comes as close to the Fisher Price castle toy of my own youth as it gets - there's so many different doors, floors, and secret openings to enthrall any youth. My six year old daughter loves it just as much. The figures are great shaped, everything is sturdy and colorful, and it keeps my son so interested in his own world. So enjoyable to see instead of kids playing video games. But Target sold this for $43.99 before Christmas, and I see that an Amazon seller is asking $85. Do your homework!
